GOT HER FROM THE RSPCA WHEN SHE WAS 6 MONTHS OLD FROM THE MOMENT I SET MY EYES ON HER I KNEW I
WANTED HER THEY SHOWED US LOTS OF OTHER DOGS BUT WE KNEW SHE WAS THE ONE FOR US AND WE NEVER
REGRETTED IT SHE WAS SUCH A LOVABLE AND LOYAL DOG SHE COULD ALMOST TALK SHE HAD A FANTASTIC LIFE AND
GOT RUINED SHE HAD THE BEST OF EVERYTHING IN DEC 04 WE NOTICED A SMALL GROWTH ON HER MOUTH AND TOOK
HER TO THE VET HE SAID IT WAS NOTHING TO WORRY ABOUT AS IT WAS NOT BOTHERING HER AND SHE WAS EATING
OK BY THE FEB 05 IT HAD GOT BIGGER AND IT WAS STARTING TO EFFECT HER EATING SO WE TOOK HER BACK BUT
WAS TOLD SHE WAS OK THEN IN THE MAY 05 SHE STARTED TO GET CONFUSED SHE DID NOT KNOW WHAT SHE WAS
DOING OR WHERE SHE WAS GOING I KNEW THEN IT WAS TIME TO LET HER GO MY LITTLE BABY WAS GOING TO THE
VETS FOR THE LAST TIME I HELD HER THE LAST NIGHT ALL NIGHT I NEVER LET HER OUT OF MY SIGHT I WAS
PREPARING TO LET MY BABY GO WE TOOK HER TO THE VETS AND HELD HER SO TIGHT AND KEPT TELLING HER HOW
MUCH WE LOVED HER AS SHE CLOSED HER EYES FOR THE LAST TIME IT BROKE OUR HEARTS TO LET HER GO BUT WE
KNEW IT WAS FOR THE BEST I COULD NOT BEAR TO BE PARTED FROM MY LITTLE BABY SO WE HAD HER ASHES BACK
IN A LOVELY WOODEN CASKET THAT TAKES PRIDE OF PLACE MY LITTLE BABY WAS BACK HOME WHERE SHE WOULD
STAY FOREVER WE HAD 18 WONDERFUL YEARS WITH OUR LITTLE GIRL WE MISS HER SO MUCH BUT WE COULD NOT LET

well maybe that is true

the pets who've shared our lives.
In subtle ways they let us know
their spirit still survives.
Old habits still can make us think

a tasty morsel on the floor.
Our feet still go around the place
the food dish used to be,
And, sometimes, coming home at night,
we miss them terribly.
And although time may bring new friends
and a new food dish to fill,
That one place in our hearts
belongs to them...
and always will.

We were so very close, we two
but I had to let you go
I hope that you can understand
it was because I loved you so.
No more pain, no aching limbs
no earthly ties that bind
No dimming eyes, no sleepless nights
you've left them all behind
I lost you many months ago,

♥♥♥ rainbow bridge ♥♥♥
Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge.
When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge. There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together. There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable.
All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor. Those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by. The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing; they each miss someone very special to them, who had to be left behind.
They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. His bright eyes are intent. His eager body quivers. Suddenly he begins to run from the group, flying over the green grass, his legs carrying him faster and faster.
You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart.
Then you cross Rainbow Bridge together....
